Oscar "The Golden Boy" De La Hoya (born February 4, 1973, age 38 years) is a Mexican American boxer who has retired. He earned a gold medal at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. De La Hoya comes from a family boxer. He was named the "Fighter of the Year " by Ring Magazine in 1995. After retiring in 2009, Oscar founded the Golden Boy Promotions, a promotional firm boxer-boxer world.
